I'm trying to develop an application (with VisualStudio2005 and C#) that
can transfer a file from my PocketPC to a PC without using ActiveSync...
and also a Windows application that can transfer from PC to PocketPC.

I think you might get a better response if you post in
microsoft.public.pocketpc and/or microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.csharp

regarding first, transferring files from PocketPC to PC - you can
create a web service that would accept a file, then call web service
from PocketPC application....
