flowing text
Using FP2000
I've got a list of members on my website which I would like to put in
columns. Is there a way of getting the names to flow into the second and
third columns automatically when a name gets added in alpha order?
Thanks in advance
Joe
Re: flowing text
Yes, with a database and server-side scripting, such as ASP, ASP.net, PHP, etc.

Re: flowing text
Sorry for being thick, but what are they and how do I go about installing
them?

Re: flowing text
ASP, ASP.net and PHP are server side scripting technologies/languages.
ASP, ASP.net and Access or MS SQL database require Windows servers. Asp
will (usually) be already installed, the other may be additions or
included with your hosting package.
Similarly, PHP and mySQL database will be available for Unix servers.
See http://www.w3schools.com for tutorials in asp, asp.NET, and PHP
Flowing columns cannot be achieved with plain HTML.

Re: flowing text
First you need to contact your web host to see what server-side scripting and database they support,
then you can search for help on using it.
